So much has changed for all of us this year and one of the biggest has been the necessity to connect remotely. The days of helping others only in-person, face-to-face is over. We are collectively challenged to connect and learn in a whole new way. That’s why this is the perfect time to consider an online course.
3 reasons to consider my course:
#1. Practical Tools
If you’re like me, you’ve read a few self-help books. They seem to have some things in common; one being that they usually do a great job explaining the problem. You’ll learn how it’s a problem, why it’s a problem, when it became a problem & the risks of it continuing to be a problem. What you don’t come away with is solutions to the problem! I don’t know about you, but I like to have steps and instructions; give me a map, a GPS, a way forward and some signs that let me know I’m on the right track. That’s what I wanted to offer with this course. So I give you 28 bite-sized videos with information, instruction and an education on your brain and your emotional health that no one ever taught you in school. You also get 45 PDFs that include learning & practice tools, exercises, tip sheets and resources with the option to download them, print them or even order a spiral workbook to have all copies in one binder.
#2. Convenience
I’ve been working remotely since March and though there are many downsides to doing so, convenience is one positive side effect. I’ve been able to protect my health and minimize risk to myself and others while maintaining a practice. There’s something to be said for being able to learn and grow in the comfort of our own homes on our own schedule. Psychotherapy itself can also be time-consuming and costly and not always convenient for those who could benefit. I wanted a way to make it more convenient to have and apply the tools and concepts that could turn lives around.
#3. Your Emotional Health Matters (A Lot!)
As a society, we value physical health and we’ll spend plenty of time and money on protection, prevention & treatment. But when it comes to our emotional health, it seems mostly we attend to it only if we’re in acute pain. Yet our health in general is inseparable from the quality of our mental health. If we’re living in chronic stress or unable to regulate our own emotional distress, the repercussions impact every aspect of our lives inside and out. Having seen so people who come to me after enduring years or even a lifetime of untreated emotional pain, I can say that putting your resources into taking care of your emotional health may be the most important investment you can make, and it doesn’t require years of therapy or tons of money. What I offer in the six weeks of this course will give you the tools needed to take charge of your emotional health.
What Is An Online Course Anyway? 3 Easy Steps
1.) You purchase the course and then you’ll get an email to get your login credentials set up.
2.) You get a reminder about when to login to begin the course on the day it launches.
3.) On the date the course begins you login to the course site and you’ll see your dashboard where you can see and access a the first modules and lessons available to you for the week. Each week you get a new module with new lessons. Each lesson has an instructional video and accompanying PDFs you can view, download and save. You may also have received a spiral notebook with all the course PDFs and you can use that as you go through the lessons.
Bonus: Within each lesson you have an area where you can make comments and there’s an AskJulie option in your dashboard to submit your questions as you go through the material. Your questions may be used on the Live Q&As for that week.
If you enroll in this course I will help you understand why you do the things you do, what’s holding you back and how to make the changes you want by learning how to manage your mind and process your emotions.
Originally, I intended to create a course for only current and potential clients to give them a foundation for understanding their own mind and have tools to support them in the therapy process. But I realized it was a valuable resource for anyone who wanted to feel better about themselves and their lives.
